Future Cities Canada Summit

It is critical that we come together and create our shared vision for the future.

Together, we can build a bold, bright future where all people in our communities will thrive. Join us to get started. As leaders, innovators, city builders and change makers, we can accelerate opportunities that generate impactful, adaptive solutions for our communities.

Launched in 2018 as the Future Cities Canada Summit, the annual gathering brings together urban thought leaders, private- and public-sector innovators, mayors and community leaders to showcase the what’s-next in creating more resilient communities of the future. Led by Evergreen, and hosted by Future Cities Canada, the program provides an important meeting place to spark partnerships and create opportunities from across the country and around the world on topics ranging from Housing & Infrastructure, Placemaking and Placekeeping, Data & Technology, Climate Change Adaptation, Education and the Future of Work.

Each year, The Summit attendees can expect to engage with city builders who are breaking down the silos in how we shape our cities, dive deep in bold, innovative city-building work that is happening across the country, and unlock the tools and inspiration that can be adapted to their communities.

In 2021, Future Cities Canada: The Summit, the six-month virtual program led by Evergreen, was the fourth national gathering by Future Cities Canada.

On demand viewing of The Summit sessions are available on the Community Solutions Portal.
